The Georgia Food Bank Association in partnership with WellCare of Georgia is proud to announce the 2015 Community Garden Initiative Mini-Grant. The Application can be found here. Through the implementation of mini-grants across the state, we aspire to make fresh fruits and vegetables available in every neighborhood. Community groups will be empowered to apply for “seed” money to get their respective projects up and running.

Awards will be made on a rolling basis throughout 2015 with no limitation on the number of agencies awarded within a particular service area.  Applicants who learn about this opportunity via the Georgia Food Bank Association, member food banks, pantries and other agents of the  food bank network are asked to note this fact on their application.
