WHO: The Wild Hog Supper is co-hosted by the Georgia Food Bank Association, the Department of Agriculture, and Commissioner Gary Black. It is open to the public and widely attended by state legislators and movers and shakers from across the state.
WHAT: A historic celebration on the eve of the start of Georgia’s legislative session that goes back over five decades. Originally organized by a group of lobbyists, the event was handed over to the Georgia Food Bank Association five years ago by Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black and now benefits our Farm to Food Bank program. The event is family – friendly with no alcohol served and serves as a fun way to rub shoulders with our state’s leaders and enjoy some good ‘ol Georgia BBQ.
